The Innovation Lab (The Lab), organized by UNICEF HK, creates a platform where agents of change can explore unconventional, even radical ideas in hopes of inspiring changes or new opportunities. The aims of The Lab is to create effective content aimed at promoting child rights, encouraging voices of youth and creating impacts for children. Through involving different parties in the solution processed and designed by the youth and for the youth, we hope to give young people the skills and knowledge they need to create effective campaigns and initiatives, assist young people to develop a well-balanced analytical skills and problem-solving skills, build their capacity for future development through hands-on experience and engage stakeholders to understand the voice of youth.

Action Based Hub

The Lab is a platform to nurture local youngsters, aged between 12 and 24, as agents of change. They can turn their ideas into actionable projects for the wellbeing of children and young people. They are empowered and encouraged to initiate and execute projects that are consistent with UNICEF’s mission. The Lab supports them by developing their capacity to do so, as well as leveraging our existing resources and partnership with other stakeholders.
